There is an unmistakable ‘moving season’ each year from May through Labor Day. People move more often in the warmer months. The spring housing awakening combined with kids being out school contribute to the Summer being peak moving time. This January, however, we experienced Summer-like levels of moving, including an unusually high level of long-distance moving to 10 different states (a few we visited multiple times).
