A major expansion is on the horizon (just up the road from the Graves-Humphrey’s Building project) at the Virginia Varsity Self Storage facility on Starkey Road. Virginia Varsity has just purchased 2.12 acres from the neighboring Greenbrier Nurseries to expand its first storage property. The planned expansion will nearly double the current property over the next 5 years with an additional 50,000 square feet of self-storage. Supplementary RV and boat parking is likely to be added as well. The work is expected to begin after the first of the year.
