What a wonderful place to store your treasured items. We have been utilizing this facility for over a year and a half. Jim, the facility manager, as well as all the staff are truly customer focussed. They are all very friendly, listen to see what your needs are, and make recommendations accordingly. They are also very willing to help as needed. The facility is modern, very clean and I mean very clean, and is year round climate controlled. We have worked in our storage area summer and winter and the temp has been great. I should also say we have felt very safe onsite with either code/card required to enter building as well as video monitoring being utilized. I highly recommend this facility for your storage needs. Stop by and they will show you around without any pressure to lease....and no I am not an employee but rather a satisfied customer.

Easily the best storage facility we've ever used! Clean, well kept, lots of important amenities, plenty of carts available, comfortable, well lit, extremely secure — and most of all — staffed by great people.

My husband and I rented several units at VA VarsityPark, and the overall experience was outstanding. The on-site management were totally competent, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly; they deserve many kudos for a job continually well done! Plus, the new facility is truly phenomenal- super clean, excellent lighting, and unbelievable amenities in a perfect location. VA Varsity knocked it out of the park on this facility; if I ever need additional storage again, there is only one number for me to dial- VA Varsity. Thanks so much for your efforts in providing an amazing storage experience; this is an example of when price becomes a secondary consideration compared to the quality product/service advertised AND provided!!

Friendly staff, great selection of moving supplies. Had to call a plainly posted number enter the store but did not wait long for a response or to get in. The only problem was figuring out where the entrance was but that was fairly easy bas well. Would recommend them and will go back.

I never thought I would have a strong opinion about storage facilities, but now that I have had to use one, I do! Virginia varsity storage is wonderful! It is a great, clean facility. The staff is so accommodating and helpful. The facility is easy to access. We had to store the contents of our home for almost a year and we are so please!

When we purchased our second home in Roanoke in 2021, we were faced with a huge logistical issue: we had two 26 ft. trucks of furniture and goods to be delivered before we could take possession of the new house. We also wanted to stage our move during the home remodeling. We met Jim, Andrea and their colleagues. They showed us their facility which is so new, so clean, so well-organized. Access is fully secure through a combination of parking gate, doors, sas and individual spaces. We used a magnetic card, codes and keys. We never felt our things could be robbed. Jim and staff are a permanent presence, even if not 24x7. So any potential issue is immediately addressed and remediated. In 2021, we rented three different spaces to accommodate the flow of goods; so it was very flexible. We also took advantage of the loading dock and various moving carts. Very easy. Restrooms are always impeccable, there is even free wifi and lounge access! Jim let us park our moving trucks overnight on their lot which was a huge help. I may have been concerned about some of our artwork and books which we stored there but I noticed the hydrometers in some corridors. It is really a climate-controlled facility. At the end of our contract, we felt sad not to interact anymore with the team at Virginia Varsity Storage; they were all so nice and friendly. Each time we drove near Carilion or Franklin Ave, we always smile as we remember our good experience at that facility. We will use again if needed, no doubt!!

Excellent facility and super friendly staff. The enitre process was very quick and easy, and the location is very easy to access! Perfect for our small business storage needs.

Virginia Varsity was one of the best parts of our cross-country transition this summer and fall. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The facility is super clean and accessible. They provide dollies and other equipment that is all well maintained. I’m grateful for their customer support and I felt confident that our possessions were in good hands during the three months that we stored our things there..

Excellent facilities and customer service.

The cleanest, most easilty accessible storage facility I have ever used. They even have a restroom, that is also immaculate. It is temperature controlled and the staff is beyond friendly. The staff is very helpful in every way. There are multiple entrances to load/unload, with various size loading docks. If I ever have stroage needs again, Varsity is it. I would go no where else.

I will say it is a "VERY" clean and a very nice place to rent

Jim is fantastic to work with. He is extremely helpful and very kind. The storage units are very nice and they are temperature controlled so it’s a major plus as it keeps your furniture from getting damaged. The facility is new and very clean. They also have a nice wait room with a TV for if you have kids with you or need a break. I recommend it to anybody that wants a quality storage unit.
