Our Salem facility is located on Apperson Drive right behind Wendy’s. You won’t be able to miss our sign in between Wendy’s and the Sunoco gas station.
Virginia Varsity broke ground with phase I, buildings A & B, in 2000, and opened for business in 2001 with 98 storage units. Over the years we have added 4 additional buildings, and today we have over 350 units.
This location has allowed Virginia Varsity to serve the City of Salem and the surrounding areas with it’s ease of use and the convenience of it’s location. The “tucked” appearance not only allows us more room to grow, but also provides a sense of safeness and security for our customers.
The Salem location offers a wide variety of sizes of standard and climate controlled storage units to suit anyone’s needs. Sizes range from the small 5 x 5 up to the largest 15 x 30. In addition to the storage units, we offer outdoor RV/Boat parking that is located within the securely fenced property.
The Salem location also includes the Varsity Store where you will find all the packing, moving and storage supplies you could possibly need.
We have incorporated new, customer-friendly features and amenities to continue to best serve the Valley’s storage customers and improve our storage brand. We are always looking for ways to improve the customer experience at our properties.
