Our Roanoke location is located on Starkey Road, behind Greenbrier Nurseries. You won’t miss our sign in between Greenbrier Nurseries and Lionberger Construction.
Starkey is Virginia Varsity’s first storage facility. Construction began in December of 1998 and phase I opened for business in May of 1999. Phase I consisted of buildings A & B with a total of 75 storage units. Today we have 5 buildings and almost 400 units.
The Starkey facility resides in Southwest Roanoke County and is conveniently located to many neighborhoods such as: Penn Forest, Hunting Hills, South Roanoke as well as businesses along Rt 419. Starkey offers many different sizes of standard and climate controlled storage units.
The Varsity Store is located within the Starkey rental office and offers everything you could possibly need for packing, moving and storage.
We have incorporated new, customer-friendly features and amenities to continue to best serve the Valley’s storage customers and improve our storage brand. We are always looking for ways to improve the customer experience at our properties.
